As the title stated, I’m glad to tell you that our CTO, faisal arbain, who can’t get enough of ActionScript ( well yeah ) just playing around with Flash Lite and produced a nifty Flash Lite Application = TGV Mobile. For overseas readers, TGV is an acronym for Tanjung Golden Village = a cinema-outlet in Malaysia. I guess you may can guess what sort of functionalities that related to cinema but still, let me enlighten you that this application contains this function below

1. View ‘Now Showing Movies’ that categorized by language.
2. View the TGV Cinema branches and see what are the movie that are shown in that cinema by date ( today, till the second-next day )
3. View synopsis of the movie
4. One-click-call-booking including all the branches of TGV in Malaysia ( Also covers Tebrau, Seberang Perai, Seremban & Ipoh )
5. All general info about movie included ( Genre, Language, Showtime, Cast , Director, Runtime )
6. Another nifty thing: Bytes Loaded Counter ( to keep track of your usage )

Talk about Bytes Loaded Counter, this is the counter to keep track of your KBytes usage. This application will ‘pull’ the info about dates, showtime, synopsis from TGV website and updated weekly.Dude, weekly, it’s weekly I mean you.

Assalamualaikum and peace be be upon you visitors. Hope you’re doing fine there. We’re doing pretty good here too :p

I receive a call last week form Mr Azmir from MDeC. They want to showcase one of our projects, namely Al-Quran for PSP for their showcase today. Aside from Al-Quran PSP, we’re allowed to also include several of our project into that showcase to be played at KL Sentral. So I decide to put a montage of Al-Quran PSP and also alongside it, that is Eid Ul Adha Mobile Magazine that published during last Eid Ul Adha, Orang Bunian Mobile Interactive Content which is made for Playyoo Flash Lite Game Contest and received positive response throughout the world in creating engaging Malaysian Local Content and lastly, our Case Study for Online Interactive Courseware. Speaking of which, lately we’ve made a prototype of an Online Interactive Courseware, which is highly suitable for Online Learning. More about the Case Study later on on the next post.

minggu lepas, kami bersama-sama syed dan muaiz telah pergi ke singapura utk menghadiri seminar yg berkait rapat dengan Flash Lite. lagi lagi free, memang lagi kitorang suke.

penceramah jemputan adalah Giorgio Natilli, pengendali Adobe Usergroup Itali dan juga pakar dalam pembangunan aplikasi Flash Lite. Seorang lagi penceramah adalahVassilis Legakis dari Greece, seorang pakar dalam bidang C++juga dalam bidang perisian untuk handphone. seminar hari pertama adalah hari selasa, belajar integrasi Flash Lite dan C++. Giorgio dan Vassilis mendemonstrasikan diorang punya tic-tac-toe yang boleh dimainkan secara bluetooth tanpa perlu gprs connection. agak menarik. seminar tersebut diadakan di waterloo center, hanya beberapa minit dibelakang hotel tumpangan kami. dlm seminar tersebut juga diorang ada buat comparison antara flash lite, J2ME, dan juga beberapa bahasa pengaturcaraan yang lain termasuklah .net.ada jugak stefano virgilli, wakil dari adobe datang ke seminar hari ini.
